Risks & Consequences

FAMAR production facilities in Greece are in charge of manufacturing liquid, solid and semi-solid forms. The premises are an essential component of the company’s overall supply chain and operations. The need to engage certified and reliable fire suppression to protect key operational assets was imperative. Fires in these types of equipment can cause serious collateral damage and consequently disruption to business operations. Therefore, guarding Electrical Substations and Electrical Panels is necessary to ensure the uninterrupted production process.

The Task

Design, supply and install bespoke fire suppression systems to protect both the Electrical Substations and the Electrical Panels. Specifications called for a modular, minimal space requiring, low maintenance, total flooding automatic fire suppression capability. The system should be certified and designed according to the precise parameters of each individual space. It also needed to be able to suppress multiple classes of fire since various materials are involved.
