Our Five Stage Recruitment Process

Review:

Our HR meticulously reviews all applications to identify candidates who meet the requirements outlined in the job posting.

Screening:

During the screening stage, company executives and HR assess applications and CVs whether applicants possess the necessary skills and/or personality orientation for the role.

1st Interview:

The hiring team thoroughly assesses various parameters and interviewee characteristics to establish a comprehensive profile for each candidate and arrive at a short-list of candidates.

2nd Interview:

Production Engineer

Production Engineer

FirePro is a global leader in the development, manufacturing, and worldwide distribution of sustainable fire suppression solutions for almost three decades. As a proud subsidiary of HALMA Plc, a multinational UK-based group listed on the London Stock Exchange, FirePro is poised for continued growth. We are seeking a Production Engineer for our Mechanical Production Plant to join our team of talented and professional individuals at our headquarters' offices at Agios Athanasios Industrial Area in Limassol.

Requirements
• University undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. Postgraduate degree will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, and very good knowledge of written and spoken English and Greek languages.
• Capable of implementing and enforcing company policies and guidelines.
• Effective organizational and interpersonal skills, time management, employee training skills.
• Integrity of character, professionalism, diligent, committed.

Roles & Responsibilities
• Maintain records for production levels and other statistical production documentation.
• Monitor implementation of production processes and procedures.
• Contribute in the training, monitoring, coaching and motivation of production employees in order to carry out all tasks to the highest quality standard while ensuring maximum productivity.
• Collaborate with the Production Manager to increase efficiencies throughout the manufacturing process, through the implementation of continuous improvement techniques and working closely with various teams such as quality control.
• Collaborate with the Production Manager in enforcing the implementation of policies and procedures on production, quality, and health & safety standards in accordance with the company’s ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards.
• Be an effective team member, working collaboratively with the Production Supervisor, colleagues, and other departments, to ensure smooth workflow with maximum output.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 7.30 am-4.00 pm.

Production Workers at Chemical & Assembly Plants

As a proud subsidiary of HALMA Plc, a multinational UK-based group listed on the London Stock Exchange, FirePro is poised for continued growth.

To expand its production teams, FirePro is looking to hire workers for its manufacturing facilities (chemical and assembly plants) at its Headquarters location at the Agios Athanasios Industrial Area in Limassol.

Requirements

• Technical or high school graduate
• Previous work experience in production will be considered an advantage
• Clean employment and criminal record
• Mature and responsible personality with strong ability to learn
• Passion for work and eye for detail
• Fluent in Greek

Responsibilities

• Responsible for implementing the production program and carrying any tasks communicated by the Production Supervisor
• Responsible for preparing and assembling of various components of FirePro products
• Carrying out tasks involved in the assembly such as labelling, packing, pressing, drilling etc.
• Monitoring the quality of the components and final unit during assembly and reporting any findings to the Production Supervisor
• Filling in quality control forms at various stages of production required by the quality management system ISO 9001
• Following strictly all safety procedures as assigned by the health & safety committee.
• Assisting in the training of new employees in the production line
• Keeping the work area clean and tidy.
• Working effectively as member of a large team

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 7.30 am-4.00 pm
