FirePro Condensed Aerosol Fire Suppression generators do not contain any harmful chemical substances e.g. Sulphur Hexafluoride SF6, Hydrofluorocarbons such as HCFC, HFCs (23, 32, 41, 43-10mee, 125, 134, 134a, 152a, 143, 143a, 227ea, 236cb, 236ea, 236fa, 245ca, 365mfc) and Perfluorocarbons PFCs, which are in the process of being phased out under European Legislation, due to their negative impact on the environment. Fluorinated gases (‘F-gases’) are a family of man-made gases used in a range of industrial applications. Because they do not damage the atmospheric ozone layer, they are often used as substitutes for ozone-depleting substances. However, F-gases are powerful greenhouse gases, with a global warming effect up to 23,000 times greater than carbon dioxide (CO2), and their emissions are rising rapidly.

FirePro has been assessed by GEN (Global Eco-labelling Network) and can carry the Green Label Certificate. The Global Ecolabelling Network (GEN) is a non-profit making association of Type-1 ecolabelling organizations as defined by the ISO 14024 standard. Their standards address multiple environmental criteria across the life cycle of a product or service and, most importantly, they are transparent in their development process and employ independent, third-party verification. Its purpose is to improve, promote and develop the ecolabelling of products and the credibility of ecolabelling programs worldwide.
ISO Certification
Every FirePro product is manufactured according to stringent international standards and requirements for quality and environmental management. Our ISO 14001 certificate is testimony that we at FirePro adopt a systemic approach to handling environmental issues within our organization. It is the most important standard within the ISO 14000 series and it specifies the requirements of an environmental management system (EMS) for small to large organizations. Issued by DNV GL, an accredited registrar and classification society, the certificate lets our customers know and trust that we at FirePro actively ensure that our processes, products and services leave a minimal footprint on the environment.
Green Chemistry
The FPC solid compound, developed after many years of Research & Development, uses environmenttally friendly Potassium salts. We are committed to environmental sustainability in both our technology and business practices as we continually strive to reduce our overall carbon footprint.
Non Ozone Depleting Substances
The Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer is an international treaty designed to protect the ozone layer by phasing out the production of substances that are responsible for ozone depletion. In our efforts to contribute towards humanity's sustainability development goals, we have focused on Green Technologies. With Zero GWP and negligible ALT our products provide a long term environmentally friendly solution that can help reduce organizations overall carbon footprint.
